Sanya Lopez talked about her NBSB status
Kapuso actress Sanya Lopez explained the reason why she is still NBSB or has “no boyfriend since birth.”
Sanya first talked about being NBSB in 2021. She said at that time that she did not want to assume about her suitors. The actress also shared that she had a basketball suitor that she turned down. Previously, she also shared that she is afraid to fall in love.
In a recent interview for her new movie Playtime with Xian Lim, Faye Lorenzo, and Coleen Garcia, which is set to be released in cinemas on June 12, Sanya shared why she has not boyfriend until now.
“Hindi ko rin talaga siya hinahanap, dapat ako ‘yung hinahanap niya,” Sanya Lopez laughingly said. She also said that time is a major factor in this.
She has a lot of projects lined up for her right now. For her, maybe if the man could understand her nature of work.
“Mahirap ‘yung klase ng trabaho na meron ako, kaya naman kung kaya niyang tanggapin, katulad nga po nung sinabi ko, may Sang’gre, may Pulang Araw, may Playtime. Kung kaya niya ‘yon tanggapin, kung saan siya sisingit doon, okay ganon,” the actress said.
Sanya also shared that she is really making sure that the intention of her suitor is sincere. She added that there were times when it did not push through because people were expecting too much.
Meanwhile, in an interview back in 2023, Sanya was asked about her ideal man. She stressed that she is not looking for a boyfriend but she wants a man who is tall, mestizo, and lean. When it comes to the guy’s attitude, she cited the basic traits like sincerity, loyalty, and more but for her, these were already given.
