Content Creator Shares Experience with Undisclosed Face Mask

Content creator Benjamin Madiza got a wrinkled and swollen face in his pursuit to have Korean glass skin through a face mask.

A content creator, Benjamin Madiza, did not achieve the Korean glass skin that he is hoping for after trying out an undisclosed face mask. He went viral after exposing how an undisclosed product left his face wrinkled and swollen.

Based on a report on 24 Oras, Benjamin said that dermatologists are not accessible in his place so he was not able to consult before putting on a face mask. That is why he tried the product in the pursuit of crystal-clear, translucent, poreless, and luminous skin.

However, the result of putting on the undisclosed face mask product is opposite from what the Content Creator was longing to have which is a Korean glass skin. He got wrinkled and swollen face that seemingly aged right away after taking the face mask.

Benjamin Madiza revealed that he felt numb on his face. He felt the cooling effect when he put on the face mask but when he removed it, he was traumatized by the result.

“Parang namanhid po siya. Pero ano po, nararamdaman ko lang po yung ano, yung cool… Pagkatapos, pagkatanggal ko po ng face mask na yun po, nakita ko na po yung pagbabago sa mukha ko, so na-trauma ako,” the Content Creator said.

Benjamin got scared of his face that drastically aged after using the face mask. He took the lessons from what happened which he charges to experience. According to the 26-year-old content creator, considering his work, what happened to him can be a way for others, too, to learn to be aware about the products they are using.

24 Oras interviewed dermatologist Dr. Gwen Bagay-Matias regarding the case of Benjamin Madiza. According to the skin doctor, the product that he used may not be suited to his skin so it reacted. The dermatologist explained that the allergen may produce histamine that can really make the skin swollen.
