Here’s the story of Nash Aguas and Mika Dela Cruz about their split.
In an interview, Nash Aguas and Mika Dela Cruz share the story about the time when they broke up before tying the knot.
It wasn’t just a love story, it was also a story of faith.
In every relationship, what we often hear from couples who have been together for so long is to put God at the center. And this seems to be true. Before the marriage in May 18, celebrity couple Nash Aguas and Mika Dela Cruz actually separated for months but they were quiet about this.
Little did they know, it was just God’s way in drawing them near to Him. Their story was not just a story of a childhood crush turned wife and husband but a story of faith and the journey of seeking God.
“Kasi kahit nagkikita kami parang mas nakakasama pa sa kanya in terms of emotionally,” Aguas said.
On her part, Mika shared the difficulties she went through that became her transition point in life and faith. She lost her father during the pandemic and during around the same time, her health conditions emerged.
“Siyempre it’s heavy on me financially rin kasi I had to leave work kasi autoimmune disease hindi na pwedeng magpuyat. Siyempre the weight gain being conscious with yourself. I went through a lot din. Lagi niyang sinasabi sa akin na ang tagal na niya akong hindi nakikita na masaya,” she shared.
“Feeling ko lahat tinnggal sa akin, trabaho, tapos I had to leave school din po because ‘yung memory problems ko, I can not grasp any information, mental block po. So ayon pati ‘yung relationship na parang constant ko, tapos noong naghiwalay kami ‘what bakit pati siya?'” she added based on the video admitting that it was her who initiated the split not knowing that in Nash’s part, he was also going through something.
That point changed their lives. They’ve separated for months but eventually got back together because of their faith in God. The breakup was painful but it had to happen so they could reset and for a redirection.
About the wedding
Nash and Mika’s wedding happened at Adriano’s Events Place and Prayer Garden in Tagaytay City. They chose to keep it private and intimate as they want to focus on sharing the moment with God rather than entertaining many guests. They have nothing against the big celebrations but this is just how they want their wedding to be.
It was their wedding with God. As a newly married couple, what they want now is to enjoy life while seeking God. They are also not expecting contrary to Mika’s pregnancy rumors.
