Elisse Joson talked about her partner’s acting stint
Kapamilya actress Elisse Joson shared her thoughts on her partner actor McCoy de Leon’s acting in the primetime action-drama series Batang Quiapo.
Elisse and McCoy’s relationship is one example of “love is lovelier the second time around.” Although their relationship went through a tough time, they were able to fix it and remained together. Following the breakup rumors, the actor confirmed his “balikan” with the actress.
The couple is very supportive of each other’s projects. In a recent interview, Elisse praised her partner for his acting stint in the series led by Coco Martin.
In Batang Quiapo, McCoy de Leon plays the villain character David Dimaguiba. Elisse Joson said that her partner has come a long way when it comes to acting, based on the article in PUSH.
She also shared that she watches the series every night and just like many viewers, she also gets affected by McCoy’s kontrabida role.
“Yes, gabi-gabi akong nanonood. Nakakainis in a way na nakaka-proud,” the actress said. Elisse also shared that she and McCoy would discuss how he would do a scene as a villain.
“Napag-uusapan namin ‘yung ganun and it helps us both. Minsan nag-ask ako sa kaniya like anong ginawa mo doon, paano mo ginawa ‘yun, tapos talagang nakakabilib rin as me, as an audience,” she shared.
Meanwhile, when asked if she and McCoy are already planning for their wedding, Elisse said that they will come to that point at the right time and she is praying for the right timing to come.
The celebrity couple welcomed their daughter Felize in October 2021. In a previous interview, Elisse Joson shared how motherhood changed her. She said that after having her daughter, she is more mindful of the projects she accepts.
