Angeli Khang is happy to be part of ‘Black Rider’
Actress Angeli Khang showed appreciation for Black Rider lead actor Ruru Madrid because of this reason.
Angeli is one of the newest additions to the cast of the Kapuso action-drama series. Her first shooting went viral because she, as a new leading lady, already had a kissing scene with Ruru.
In a previous interview, the Kapuso actor shared the reaction of his girlfriend actress Bianca Umali to his kissing scene with Angeli.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Angeli Khang expressed gratitude to Ruru Madrid. She said that it is a big blessing for her to be part of Black Rider.
This is Angeli’s first TV show after gaining popularity for her movies on a streaming platform and she is so happy for this opportunity in her acting career.
“I’m so happy. My heart is very full. I feel blessed and honored na tinrust ako ng GMA, also Viva, na gampanan ‘tong character na ‘to. As much as possible, I want to switch my genre na kahit saan ako ilagay–kahit sa action, drama, comedy o ano man ‘yan, kaya kong gawin as an artist,” the actress said.
She also said that it is a new experience for her as well to be in a project wherein her acting will be challenged and her physical capability because of the action scenes. She said that the action scenes are indeed tiring. Angeli said that it took a longer time to shoot the action scenes.
She is just thankful that she has a background in martial arts and this helped her. “Nag-taekwondo ako noong 11 years old ago.Ā Black belterĀ [ako] at thankful ako na pina-taekwondo ako ng dad ko. Magagamit ko naman ‘yung taekwondo skills ko, ‘yung sports ko,” the actress said.
Angeli Khang is also appreciative of the help she gets from her co-stars, especially from Ruru Madrid. “He’s a very talented professional actor. Talagang he’ll drive you to be better in scenes. Nakaka-drive siya para mas maging okay ka sa scene,”Ā the actress said about her leading man.
Ruru also shared kind words for his leading lady. He said that Angeli is really passionate about what she does and she is really willing to learn and listen to advice.
