Kathryn Bernardo shared what she felt doing the sequel to her movie with Alden Richards
Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo admitted that she needed some time before getting used to her character Joy in Hello, Love, Again.
After five years, the long wait of KathDen fans is finally over. Kathryn and Alden first worked together in Hello, Love, Goodbye in 2019. It was hailed as the Pinoy top-grossing film for many years.
A few months ago, rumors surfaced that the sequel to the KathDen movie would happen. It was recently announced that this is indeed happening. The sequel is a Star Cinema and GMA Films collaboration.
Previously, Alden Richards said that doing Hello, Love, Again is “parang panaginip.” He admitted that he had been anticipating this to happen and when it finally happened, it was a dream come true.
Kathryn Bernardo also shared her thoughts on doing part two of her movie with the Kapuso actor. Based on the article in Balita, the Kapamilya actress admitted that she needed some time to get used to the scene as Joy.
“No’ng nando’n na [sa shoot], ‘action!’ Nag-take si Direk Cathy (Garcia-Sampana). Parang nangapa ulit kami. But then of course, very familiar na kami with the characters,” the actress said.
Kathryn, on the other hand, pointed out that five years is a long time and they had to channel their characters once again.
“Parang nawala na siya sa katawan mo. But then, excited kami at kinakabahan pareho kung paano ulit kami papasok sa character nina Joy at Ethan,” the Kapamilya actress said.
She also shared that she did not expect that the sequel to her movie with Alden would happen. The actress was surprised when she was told about the sequel this year after she did the movie A Very Good Girl. Kathryn Bernardo shared that she was supposed to do the movie Elena.
