MAGIC JOHNSON AWARD 2023-24 – The Professional Basketball Writers Association announced Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry as the awardee.

STEPHEN CURRY – The Golden State Warriors’ basketball star player won the Magic Johnson Award 2023-24 which is his second win.
In the international basketball arena, Stephen Curry is one of the most popular cagers whose excellent in playing the sports has hooked countless fans and supporters — aside from his humble personality which also drew countless fans and supporters.
Stephen is one of the stars of the Golden State Warriors. He was a major contributor in the many wins of the team most especially in the championship games where he made the lead.
The Golden State Warriors star player plays as the point guard of the team and he is regarded as one of the greaters shooters and players of all time. He is an icon when it comes to three-point shots. Curry has visited the Philippines and met several stars in the country.
Stephen Curry has already bagged several awards in his basketball career. He is a four-time NBA champion, a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP), an NBA All-Star Game MVP, and an NBA Finals MVP among other recognitions he bagged.
The Golder State Warriors’ star player is also an NBA Clutch Player of the Year, a two-time NBA scoring champion, and has also bagged two gold medals at the FIBA World Cup.
Recently, Stephen Curry also bagged the 2023-24 Magic Johnson Award. The announcement was made by the Professional Basketball Writers Association or the PWBA.
Over 200 writers and editors of the PWBA voted for cager to be awarded with the Magic Johnson Award for 2023-24. The criteria considers the NBA player who excels both in the basketball arena and display the “cooperation and grace in dealing with the media and fans”.
Aside from Curry, the other finalists for the award were DeMar DeRozan of Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo, Rudy Gobert of Minnesota Timberwolves, and Indiana Pacers’ Tyrese Haliburton.
Winning the 2023-24 Magic Johnson Award is a second win for Stephen Curry of the said award. He also bagged the same award in 2016 and the other two-time winners of the award were Damian Lillard (2017, 2020) and Shane Battier (2007, 2013).
