According to Atty. Angelica Chua-Mandanas, she already know Batangas Governor Dodo Mandanas since she was seven (7) years old. Her mother was the head of the provincial legal office then and the Governor was one of the guests during her 7th birthday.
However, after that encounter at the celebration of her 7th birthday, they never met again until the Governor sought the services of the legal firm where the then Ms. Chua was a partner.

The lawyer said that she decided to push through with their relationship and what is important to her is that she and the Governor are okay as well as her family and friends are okay with it. She hopes that their love can sustain everything.
