Sen. Bong Revilla Unable To Go To Tapings for His Comeback Movie

BONG REVILLA – The 57-year-old Senator confirmed that the taping for his comeback film, “Birador: Alyas Pogi 4”, is postponed.

One of the action stars in the Philippine show business is Sen. Ramon Revilla Jr. who did a lot of hit action projects in the past. Despite being in the political field, he has not totally left the showbiz industry and many of his fans and supporters have the continued hope for his next film.

However, it is also no secret to the public that Sen. Bong Revilla have been dealing with health conditions lately. He got into an accident and had to went through a surgery for a torn Achilles tendon.

The Senator was only able to attend the first day of the shooting for his comeback film, Birador: Alyas Pogi 4” when the accident took place. The operation was successful but he has to undergo a therapy.

Based on an article on Pep, Sen. Bong Revilla confirmed that he still cannot do tapings now so his comeback movie may be postponed. Following the operation, he is not allowed to walk his operated foot for two to three weeks.

Furthermore, the actor-politican has to go through a foot therapy which may take around three (3) to five (5) months. He must be careful in stepping his foot and he is not allowed to do action scenes during the healing process.

According to the Senator, his comeback film Birador: Alyas Pogi 4 is full of action scenes that’s why it will be hard for him to do the taping. Meanwhile, while they cannot set shooting sessions, they can take the time to polish the script.

In his comeback movie, Sen. Bong Revilla works with Christopher de Leon, Andrea Brillantes, Carlo Aquino, Epy Quizon, and Ara Mina. Based on the article, they might resume the taping late this year or next year.

Meanwhile, despite his condition now, the Senator strive to do his senatorial duties and attend the sessions via online. He was also able to go out and attend the signing of the agreement for the merging of Partido Federal ng Pilipinas and Lakas-CMD which he chairs.
