BOOBAY CONDITION – The 37-year-old comedian once again experienced a silent seizure during a show in Aparri, Cagayan.
Most town and municipality festival events hire popular personalities like actors, actresses, and comedians to perform and entertain the people. Comedian Boobay recently did a show in Aparri, Cagayan. However, an unexpected incident took place when he had a silent seizure during the performance.

Comedian Boobay Fell Into the Stage’s Floor due to Silent Seizure during Performance
Comedian Boobay suffered from silent seizure once again during a live performance in a town’s fiesta in Aparri, Cagayan.
In the Philippine showbiz industry, one of the personalities gifted with the talent to entertain people with his jokes and banters is Boobay or Norman Balbuena in real life. He gained prominence for his appearance in several shows of the GMA News and Public Affairs like the Unang Hirit where he is one of the hosts.
It was not long ago when Boobay also made headlines following a health scare during his guesting on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda last April 21, 2024. Everyone in the set including Tito Boy was worried when he suddenly stopped from speaking and just had a blank stare.
Following being in an unresponsive state that left a lot people alarmed, the comedian was able to get back to his senses. Boobay explained that it is an effect of the stroke that he had in 2016.
According to Boobay, the doctor had explained to him that when it happens, the people should just let him be and he will naturally be back on his senses again. He expressed that it was not the first time that it happened and there were several instances when he suffered from the same experience during tapings.
Following the incident during his guesting in Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the GMA-7 has advised Boobay to take a break. A lot of his fellow celebrities also expressed their worries and concern for the health of Boobay.
Recently, comedian Boobay suffered from silent seizure once again during a live performance. He was in a variety show with Pepita Curtis as her guest when the health scare happened.
The variety show for the 344th fiesta of Aparri, Cagayan was held at Aparri Public Park. Comedian Boobay fell into the floor of the stage beside the speakers and Pepita rushed back to help him. Two (2) people were also quick to help the comedian.
Considering his professionalism, Boobay still finished the show after his silent seizure and gave an update to assure the people who are worried about his condition.
