Andrea Brillantes is unbothered by bashers
Kapamilya actress Andrea Brillantes shared her thoughts on the toxicity of social media and the negative comments that she receives.
Andrea, at a young age, already has her fair share of controversies since she grew up in showbiz. There have been several instances that her name became a trending topic on social media because of negative reasons.
However, the young actress continued to do what makes her happy. In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, Andrea said that amid the social media toxicity, she is choosing positivity.
As many celebrities do, Andrea Brillantes also uses social media. She is quite active online. However, it is a fact that using social media platforms has pros and cons.
The actress said that it does not bother her if there are negative things circulating about her on social media. “Hindi po kasi ako nagpapakain sa social media. I’m really grounded naman sa real world. I know it’s easier said than done,” she said.
Andrea also said that she knows how to appreciate real life and that it is more than just social media. She stressed that she does not need to be bothered by people commenting online when she does not know them personally and they do not know her.

When asked about how she would handle bashing, the actress highlighted her appreciation of how beautiful the world is. She also pointed out that a person has the option to stay away from the negativity on social media.
“Social media kasi you can easily turn off the phone and read a book, meet your friend, reconnecting with nature, doing (chores) sa house, meeting your friends hindi lang through phone,” she added.
Meanwhile, Andrea Brillantes will return as Sky in the Kapamilya series High Street, the sequel to Senior High.
