Ogie Diaz has this reaction to what Liza Soberano did on social media
Actress Liza Soberano reposted a post about Kapuso actress Bea Alonzo’s filing of cyber libel cases against Ogie Diaz, and the talent manager-vlogger reacted to this.
Ogie handled Liza’s career in showbiz with Star Magic for over a decade. When the actress decided not to renew her contract with her former manager and her former home network, and eventually decided to transfer to James Reid’s Careless, controversies surfaced.
She was accused of being ungrateful while Ogie allegedly did not let the actress have her freedom when it came to her career.
The issue between Ogie Diaz and Liza Soberano surfaced just recently and it is because netizens noticed that the actress reposted a post about Bea Alonzo’s case against the talent manager-vlogger and veteran showbiz insider Cristy Fermin.
In a recent episode of Ogie’s Showbiz Update vlog with co-hosts Mama Loi and Dyosa Pockoh, he was asked to react to what Liza did.
Ogie said that it is Liza’s right to share what she wants to share on her social media page. “Okay lang, karapatan niya yun,” he said, adding that if this can help Liza’s career then, she can repost this again and again.
Dyosa said that it seemed like Ogie’s statement has “laman.” The latter said that what he said was positive. He also stressed that he is not angry at Liza. When Mama Loi asked about the reposting that Liza’s father did, Ogie said, “Hindi ko na siya pinapansin.“
The talent manager-vlogger also said that Liza’s father has been like this to him ever since. “Hayaan mo na siya,” he added.
Mama Loi said that the reposting that Liza Soberan did would mean that she believes what she reposted and she shows support for Bea Alonzo. Ogie Diaz said that netizens can comment if they also think the same. However, the talent manager-vlogger said that if there is “maling chika” about Liza, he corrects this. He added that he would speak about her former talent as how he knew her but he cannot say anything beyond what he knows.
Ogie also reacted to Bea’s decision to file a case against him. He said that he is not angry at the Kapuso actress.
