Here’s the statement of Ogie Diaz following the complaint filed by Bea Alonzo.
Showbiz reported Ogie Diaz has this statement released after Bea Alonzo filed a cyber libel complaint against him.
“But there is always a limit and now is the time for definitive legal action.”
This was the statement of Joey Garcia, the lawyer of actress Bea Alonzo who was with her when she filed cyber libel complaint against Ogie Diaz, Cristy Fermin, and their co-hosts. Her lawyer and manager Shirley Kuan was with her when she filed the complaint at the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
In the two decades of being an actress of Alonzo, this is the first time that she ever did this. Everything has a limit indeed and it seemed like she already reached her limit when it comes to the defamatory claims and false stories made about her.
Based on a previous article, Bea filed cyber libel against Diaz and Fermin. Apart from them, a separate complaint has been filed against an online user who was pretending to be close to her.
Following this, Diaz posted on his social media his statement about the matter. He address the reporters who were reaching out to him about the complaint. He understands what they do in order to make a fair and balanced report but for now, they have to wait for the right time for him to speak about this.
Towards the end, he wrote:
“Pero eto ha? Ayoko nang magpakaplastik. Tulad ng lagi naming hinihirit sa Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update, sila pa rin ang gusto naming magkatuluyan sa ending.”
Read below:
In Alonzo’s complaint affidavit, the online user pretending to be close to her spread false stories about her which was later on discussed by Fermin and Diaz in their online show without factual basis. She was defamed and they even talked her alleged case of not paying the correct tax.
