Coleen Garcia and Diego Loyzaga star in the movie ‘Isang Gabi’
Actress Coleen Garcia shared the reaction of her husband singer-host Billy Crawford to her love scenes with her Isang Gabi leading man Diego Loyzaga.
Coleen and Diego’s movie is set to be released on May 15 in cinemas. It was first pitched to be released on Vivamax but Viva’s Boss Vic del Rosario decided that it deserved to be watched on the big screen.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Abante, director McArthur C. Alejandre shared that when he pitched this movie to Diego and Coleen, he did not hear a reply from the actress.
The director thought that Coleen Garcia was not interested but when he talked to her again, she nodded. With this, Direk Mac immediately started the filming.
Coleen admitted that she was hesitant to accept the project because she doubted if she could give justice to the role. Another factor that made her apprehensive was the fact that Diego is like a younger brother to her.
Previously, the actor said that their love scenes were a bit awkward at first since he is friends with Billy and Coleen.
They are both thankful that they were able to pull off the intimate scenes. The actress stressed that the love scenes in the movie are really connected to the story.
When asked if she asked permission from her husband before doing the intimate scenes, Coleen said that this was the first script that she did not let Billy read. “So hindi niya alam kung ano ang magiging story rito… sa ano, sa mismong pelikula. But I do tell him about the scenes that I’m shooting,” she shared.
The actress added that she did not want her husband to be surprised once he watched the movie but she did not spoil the whole story for him.
“So without giving away the story to him, kasi gusto ko rin na makuha ‘yung… or kahit reaction niya sa buong kuwento, sinabi ko sa kanya kung anong klaseng scenes ‘yung sinu-shoot ko. Kung gaano, how far I went and everything, so alam naman niya,” she shared.
Coleen Garcia said that it was okay with her husband and that she was the one who felt more awkward and not him.
