Here’s Reason Why Janella Salvador’s “Janella: Reimagined” Concert Postponed
JANELLA SALVADOR – Find out the reason why actress-singer Janella Salvador decided to postpone her “Janella: Reimagined” concert.
The 10th-anniversary concert of Janella Salvador has yet to receive a new official date, though the Kapamilya singer-actress remains optimistic about a potential September scheduling. Originally titled “Janella: Reimagined,” the concert was initially set for April 19 at the New Frontier Theater in Quezon City.
However, Star Music announced its postponement just over a week prior due to unforeseen circumstances.
During an Instagram Live session last Friday, Janella Salvador expressed her understanding of the situation, citing various reasons for the postponement. She emphasized her commitment to delivering a fully prepared performance and acknowledged the importance of promoting her recent endeavors, including her movie “Under Parallel Skies” with Thai star Win Metawin and her single “Headtone,” released in March.
“Ang dami talangang nangyari, when I was supposed to be preparing for the concert. And, obviously, I don’t wanna give you guys a half-baked performance,” she said. “So, kung magko-concert ako, siyempre I wanna be able to give my 100%. I wanna be really prepared for it.”
According to the report, Salvador intends to focus on her music before the concert, planning to promote “Headtone” further and teasing the release of her second single. She also provided an update on her upcoming movie “How To Be A Good Wife” with Jane de Leon, assuring fans that the film is still in progress despite production concerns.
“Also, hindi rin kami nakapag-promote masyado ng single ko, ng music ko…”
“And I understand that you guys are gonna be like, ‘Who would wanna buy a concert ticket if matagal nang walang release ‘yung artist na ‘yun?’ I totally get it.”
“So, that’s also my plan talaga. Gusto ko talaga mag-release ng music bago mag-concert,” she added.
“So, that’s what we’re gonna be working on right now. I’m gonna be fully working on my music leading up to the concert.”
In the meantime, Salvador encourages fans to support “Under Parallel Skies,” which premiered in Philippine cinemas on April 17.
