Actress-singer Janella Salvador is celebrating her 10th anniversary in the entertainment industry and she was supposed to do a concert on April 19 but this was recently postponed.
Janella started as a teen actress doing supporting roles. Eventually, she got lead roles and also ventured into singing. She had to take a break from the entertainment industry when she got pregnant with actor Markus Paterson. Unfortunately, they separated.
Janella had his TV comeback through the Darna series in 2022 and she played the antagonist role Valentina.
This year, Janella Salvador returned to the big screen with the movie Under Parallel Skies with Thai actor Win Metawin. The actress-singer is also celebrating a decade of her career in showbiz.
Janella renewed her contract with the Kapamilya network just recently, Based on the article in ABS-CBN News, after renewing her contract, the actress-singer shared that she wants to focus more on her music career.
She was supposed to hold her anniversary concert on April 19 at the New Frontier Theater. The announcement has been made already and preparations for the concert. However, a recent announcement informed the public that the Reimagined concert is postponed and this is because of “unforeseen circumstances.”
In an Instagram post on April 10, Star Music Philippines, the music company of ABS-CBN, made this announcement. However, the company reassured the ticket holders that this would be rescheduled.
“Ticket holders are encouraged to keep their tickets for the rescheduled date or seek refunds through Ticketnet. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding,” it stated.
Meanwhile, Janella Salvador went viral just recently and it is because of what she said on It’s Showtime. Netizens criticized her and said that she was being rude to Kim Chiu who asked for a “sample” from her. Janella lamented the negative reactions but she was thankful that she received support also. She was also defended by It’s Showtime host Karylle as she revealed the backstory.
