Honest Sidecar Driver Returns Lost Cash to Owner
A sidecar driver received a cash reward and praise from the online community after returning the lost cash to its respective owner.
Honesty is a quality or trait characterized by truthfulness, sincerity, and integrity in one’s words, actions, and interactions with others. It involves being truthful and transparent, as well as adhering to moral and ethical principles.
Honest individuals are straightforward in their communication and dealings, and they strive to uphold the truth even when faced with challenges or temptations to deceive. Honesty is essential for building trust, building healthy relationships, and maintaining integrity in personal and professional life.

Recently, the local government of Rosario recognized a sidecar driver who returned an envelope containing P50,000 cash. The honest driver, Roger “Wakwak” Estolano Drio, 42, a resident of Barangay Bagbag 2 in the town, was praised for his integrity and honesty.
According to Wakwak, he was waiting for passengers on a Saturday night (April 6, 2024) when he found a white envelope. He was surprised when he picked it up and opened it, only to discover that it contained money amounting to thousands of pesos.
After a few moments, a lady was seen seemingly searching for something on the road, and it was found out that she was the owner of the white envelope. According to the lady, the envelope contained the money for their savings group, and it would have been a huge loss if it hadn’t been returned to her.

Meanwhile, it was also discovered that this was not the first time Wakwak had returned the money he found. In 2022, he reportedly found P12,000 and immediately returned it to its owner.
The sidecar driver’s act of honesty serves as an example of integrity and kindness in the community. His actions remind us all of the importance of doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.
