A Pinoy vlogger has gone viral online for cooking an egg and pork belly using the sun’s heat amid scorching temperatures in the country.
Amidst the scorching temperatures brought about by the El Niño season, a Filipino vlogger has sparked laughter and entertainment online with an unconventional cooking experiment.
With classes suspended and local government units responding to the intense heat, many Filipinos have been experiencing discomfort due to the hot weather condition.
Recently, the Facebook page “Kabrader VLOGS” shared a video showcasing an unconventional cooking method using nothing but the heat of the sun. The video quickly went viral, eliciting various reactions from netizens.
In the video, the content creator appeared to have some idle time and decided to utilize the intense heat of the sun for cooking. They placed a frying pan under direct sunlight for 30 minutes to heat it up. Afterward, they added oil and cracked an egg onto the pan.
Surprisingly, the egg cooked quickly, prompting his friend to suggest cooking pork belly as well. Without hesitation, the vlogger proceeded to cook the pork belly using the same method.
Due to the extreme heat of the weather, the pork belly cooked immediately, achieving a similar result to cooking over fire. The content creator and their companions tasted the cooked dishes and found them satisfying.
