Two weeks after the confirmation, Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol split up.
South Korean stars Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol have broken up two weeks after they confirmed their relationship.
Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol previously confirmed that they are dating but this turned out to several unpleasant circumstances. They ended the relationship weeks after they admitted their relationship and amid the controversy they are facing that comes with the confirmation.
According to reports that circulated on March 30, 2024, the pair ended the relationship but the actor is still yet to air his side about this.
9ATO Entertainment, So Hee’s agency, issued a statement which likewise confirmed the split of the couple. Based on the statement, they realized that their roles as actors are greater than the relationship they shared and “promised not to waste any emotions on personal matters any longer”.
The South Korean actress is sorry for the things she has said and will accordingly “duly receive whatever criticism”.
Jun-yeol’s agency C-JeS Studios also confirmed the split. It added that the two became a subject of scrutiny among the people and they were accused of “hwanseung yeonae” or “transferring between dating partners”. This accusation was ignited when Ryu got into a relationship with So Hee shortly after announcing his breakup with singer-actress Hyeri, his girlfriend for seven years.
Jun-yeol and Hyeri starred in the hit series “Reply 1988” while So Hee is known for her roles in “The World of the Married” and “Gyeongseong Creature”.
In a previous article, the actress was heavily criticized online. Her talent agency 9ato Entertainment promised to take legal action against people online who are spreading awful rumors about the actress after announcing their relationship. Back then, So Hee clarified that there was no overlapping that happened. She accordingly met Ryu when he was already single.
