In a recent interview on Fast Talk, the Kapuso talk show of King of Talk Boy Abunda, based on the article in Pang-Masa, Xian Lim admitted that he does not want to go back to past controversies and that he felt before.

He said that he wanted to recall the time when he auditioned in ABS-CBN as he aspired to be in the entertainment industry.

“I have my own shares of controversies and it’s a learning process, you know, I don’t know what’s happening, so maybe ‘yon, ‘yung mga ganu’n, hindi ko siya babalikan because it’s a very painful time and you know, it takes a lot of maturity and takes a lot out of you. So, hindi ko babalikan ‘yun,‘” the actor said when it comes to the things he chose not to go back to.

Xian also shared the learnings that he had when it comes to love. “Ano ang natuturo ng love? I think, it teaches you pain. Love is very painful and it’s also a very magical feeling. I think that’s what love does to you,” he said.

The actor added that at a certain point, love disappears and this is the time when choosing happens. It is the point where one would choose to continue to love, to stay together, and to fight for each other.

However, the actor is thankful that he was able to surpass the challenges in his life and along this journey, his family is with him.

Xian Lim is also grateful that his family – his mom and grandparents – are healthy because he works hard for them, to provide for them. “Sila muna before ako,” the Kapuso actor said.
