Stolen Washing Machine Turns Out to be Broken; Thief Returns It!
CEBU CITY – A male thief returned a stolen washing machine to its owner after discovering that it wasn’t working anymore.

Recently, a young man from Cebu City was placed behind bars after returning a stolen washing machine to its owner after discovering that it wasn’t working anymore. He was identified as a repeat offender by the Inayawan Police.
According to Police Major Jiceree Basitao of the Inayawan Police Station, the owner of the washing machine spotted the suspect returning the appliance.
The 21-year-old man from Cebu admitted to stealing the washing machine around 1 a.m. from Sitio Villa Buena, Barangay Kinasang-an.
The owner realized that the washing machine was returned by the suspect after discovering that it was no longer functioning. The young man from Cebu returned the broken washing machine to the owner, stating that he couldn’t use it.
Police Major Jiceree Basitao of the Inayawan Police Station confirmed that the owner saw the returned washing machine brought back by the suspect. The man confessed to stealing the washing machine around 1 a.m. from Sitio Villa Buena, Barangay Kinasang-an.
