Lady Netizen Creates Street-Food-Inspired Crochets

A lady netizen goes viral and earns praise online for making crocheted versions of popular Filipino street foods.

Crochet is a craft that involves using a small hook and yarn or thread to create fabric by interlocking loops of yarn. It’s similar to knitting but uses a single hook instead of two needles.

Recently, Jonna Carla Cetron Manalo, a Facebook user, shared set of photos featuring her crocheted versions of grilled street food. The adorable post garnered various reactions from the online community.

The photos portray the meticulously crafted crocheted versions of popular street food items, copying the appearance of grilled meats and skewers.

Manalo’s mom asked her what dish she wanted for dinner, but she didn’t respond because she was busy crocheting.

The lady netizen counted every stitch in crochet, and she didn’t want to get confused, so she couldn’t answer her. Jonna’s mom jokingly said that all she care about is yarn, yarn, yarn! She said that Jonna should just eat yarn.

The young woman came up with the idea of making street-food-inspired crochets.
