Lady Netizen Creates Street-Food-Inspired Crochets

Recently, Jonna Carla Cetron Manalo, a Facebook user, shared set of photos featuring her crocheted versions of grilled street food. The adorable post garnered various reactions from the online community.
The photos portray the meticulously crafted crocheted versions of popular street food items, copying the appearance of grilled meats and skewers.
Manalo’s mom asked her what dish she wanted for dinner, but she didn’t respond because she was busy crocheting.
“Tinatanong ako ng nanay ko kung ano daw po ang gusto kong ulam pero [‘di] po ako sumasagot kasi kasalukuyan po akong nagko-crochet,” Manalo said.
The lady netizen counted every stitch in crochet, and she didn’t want to get confused, so she couldn’t answer her. Jonna’s mom jokingly said that all she care about is yarn, yarn, yarn! She said that Jonna should just eat yarn.
“Eh may bilang po kasi ang bawat stitches ng crochet, ayoko po malito kaya ‘di ko po sya nasasagot kaya pabiro pong sinabi ng nanay ko na puro na lang daw ako yarn, yarn, yarn! Yarn na lang daw ang ulamin ko kaya ayun po naisip ko bakit nga hindi ako gumawa ng ulam out of yarn,” she added.
The young woman came up with the idea of making street-food-inspired crochets.
