On March 14, 2024, Kapuso actor-host Paolo Contis turns 40 years old. To mark this day, his girlfriend, actress Yen Santos shared a post to share her birthday message for him. She rarely posts on social media but today is extra special.
In her post, she, shared a throwback photo of young Paolo who was doing a laundry in a scene followed by a short clip taken from his birthday celebration, and lastly was their selfie. The comment section of her post has been turned off.
She wrote, “screaming happy 40th birthday to my best friend! thank you for everything you do.”

To recall, the Kapuso actor confirmed their relationship in January 2023 during his interview in Fast Talk With Boy Abunda. This confirmation ended the speculations about their real score which have been circulating online prior.
In August 2014, Paolo admitted that he wanted to marry Yen. He sees himself tying the knot with the actress and he believed that there’s a right time for this. He still needs to settle some things with regards to his daughters with Lian Paz and LJ Reyes. He wanted to put Yen in a situation where she won’t be entangled with complicated issues.
On why he fell in love with Yen
Last year, he opened up about their relationship and revealed what made him fall in love with his leading lady in a movie. According to him, she already had the opportunity to leave him, especially during the height of their issue but she stayed.
During the time when a lot have turned their backs on him, someone stayed.
“Hindi mo ba mamahalin yon? During the time some of my friends, some of the people who actually believe me were leaving, someone stayed,” he said.
