VANESSA HUDGENS – Filipino-American Hollywood actress Vanessa Anne Hudgens revealed pregnancy at the Oscars 2024 red carpet.
Vanessa Hudgens, accompanied by her sister and Filipino mother, traveled to the Philippines last year in her capacity as the country’s tourism ambassador, sparking controversy among some Filipinos who felt she lacked the cultural connection to hold such a role due to her American upbringing.
In an interview, based on the article in PEP, Vanessa said that she was brought up the American way. “Yes, I had rice with every meal, but I didn’t necessarily feel like I was super separated from the other kids in school, just because my upbringing was so extremely American,” she said.
Vanessa Hudgens additionally expressed the empowering feeling of representing her heritage and highlighted how joyful everyone she encountered in the Philippines appeared during her visit, according to the Hollywood actress.
“I think the secret to life is community; it doesn’t matter how much you have what you have, it’s about the people you choose to fill your life with,” Vanessa shared.
Recently, at the Oscars 2024 event, the former “High School Musical” star proudly revealed her pregnancy with her husband, baseball player Cole Tucker. Hudgens gracefully displayed her baby bump on the red carpet at the Dolby Theatre on March 10 (March 11 in the Philippines), exuding radiant elegance in a form-fitting gown, complemented by a high ponytail, crystal choker, and drop earrings.
Vanessa Hudgens, who co-hosted the awards ceremony’s pre-show alongside Julianne Hough, had tied the knot with Tucker in a private ceremony in Mexico in December 2023 after three years of courtship.
Earlier, Hudgens had refuted pregnancy rumors on the “She Pivots” podcast, condemning the tendency of people to make assumptions about women’s bodies, as reported by Variety.
