TAHANANG PINAKAMASAYA – Here are some of the final and emotional moments of hosts and staff before the noontime show ended.
Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE) noontime show ‘Tahanang Pinakamasaya’ bids farewell on GMA. This has become official last March 7 after TAPE released an official statement regarding this matter.
They informed the viewers about this with a heavy heart. Efforts were made to save the show but a mutual decision has been made which was made effective on March 8 2024.
GMA also released a statement. In the statement, it has been stated that due to unavoidable circumstances, the decision has to be made. They thanked the TAPE for their contribution and for the decades of partnership for noontime programming.
In the meantime, GMA will be airing movies for the time slot left by the noontime show. This part of their temporary noontime programming is called Lunchtime Movie Hits.
On the other hand, as the show announced its ending, a clip circulated online that showed some of the moments not seen on TV. The hosts were emotional with the staff. The audience was also seemingly shocked.
In the video, former mayor Isko Moreno told the live audience, “Mga Kapuso, hindi natin tatapusin ang araw na ito ng hindi kami nagpapasalamat sa bawat isa sa inyo. Maraming-maraming salamat. I love you. See you again next time in our next journey.”
