Sarah Geronimo aims to have an international project
Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo revealed that she wants to collaborate with K-Pop star Jungkook of BTS and this received a reaction from Broadway diva Lea Salonga.
Sarah and Lea were able to work together as coaches in the past seasons of The Voice Philippines. With that, a strong bond was formed between them and other coaches. After many years, Sarah is returning to doing music again.
The Popstar Royalty just recently released her new track My Mind with internationally acclaimed artist Billy Crawford.
Sarah Geronimo held an #AskSarahG session just recently on X, formerly known as Twitter. A netizen asked her if there was a chance, who among the K-Pop stars she wanted to work with.
The singer-actress mentioned Jeon Jung-kook. He is one of the hit K-Pop all-male group BTS and he released his solo album last year. “I love JUNGKOOK. I think he is an amazing artist. Ang galing niya sobra 🙂,” Sarah replied to the netizen.
This received a comment from Lea Salongo who is known to be a huge fan of BTS. In past interviews and social media posts, Lea has been expressive of her admiration for the K-pop group and showed that she is part of the Army, the fandom of BTS.
“Grabe siyaaaaaaa! Strong agree!!!” The Broadway diva commented. Many netizens also agreed with what Sarah said.
