Police Arrests Grade 11 Student for Selling Illegal Drugs
The police authorities arrested a 17-year-old Grade 11 student for selling illegal drugs in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.

Recently, a Grade 11 student was arrested in Hacienda Carmen, Barangay Daga, Cadiz City, where members of the Cadiz City PNP conducted an operation targeting the minor suspect. The station’s drug enforcement unit headed the operation against the underage individual.
During the operation, law enforcement confiscated six packages (self-sealing plastic) containing a substance identified as ‘MJ,’ along with the buy-bust item. Additionally, they recovered the buybust money amounting to P500.
The confiscated illegal drug from the minor weighed 60 grams and is estimated to be valued at P7,200. Currently, the minor is detained in the lockup cell of the Cadiz City Police Station and will face appropriate charges.
This incident points out the concerning involvement of minors in illegal activities, particularly the sale of drugs. It shows the importance of addressing issues related to youth involvement in drug-related crimes..
