Beauty Gonzalez has an upcoming movie
Director Lem Lorca said Kapuso actress Beauty Gonzalez is like Hollywood actress Cate Blanchett.
Beauty’s acting career continues to soar high with different genres of acting projects that she has done these past years.
In a previous interview, Beauty expressed how happy she is with the projects that GMA is giving her. With the different varieties of projects, Beauty said that she can now call herself a versatile actress.
In a recent interview, Direk Lem Lorca, the director of Beauty Gonzalez’s upcoming movie Paquil, based on the article in PEP, shared his experience working with the Kapuso actress.
Direk Lem said Beauty is a “movie star.” “Parang sabi ko, pag pinapanood ko siya, para siyang Cate Blanchett. Yung hugis niya, yung katawan niya, yung mukha niya. And the talent talaga!” the direcor said.
He added that the actress has given a lot for the movie and they are thankful for that. The director also said that Beauty owned this movie. For him, it is flattering as a director to get the same passion from the artist he works with.
Aside from Beauty’s remarkable performance in the movie, the actress also gave another gift for this project. She allowed her daughter Olivia to be part of the movie as the young version of her character.
It is Olivia’s first time acting and her father Norman Crisologo was also excited about this. Direk Lem shared that Beauty thought that it was just a simple scene.
“Si Beauty, nagulat din. Si Beauty, stage mom! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Nakatutok! And even the father, niloloko namin kunwari, mga stage parents itong mga ito pag naging artista ang anak nila. Kasi nakatutok talaga sila. Kasi, first time nung bata. And she’s so cute,” the director enthused.
Direk Lem also mentioned that Beauty Gonzalez was the perfect choice for this movie. Actor JM de Guzman is also part of this movie.
