Cristy Fermin debunked this rumor about Alden Richards
Rumor has it that Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards will be on the Kapuso noontime show Tahanag Pinakamasaya but veteran showbiz columnist Cristy Fermin said that this is fake.
Alden was part of the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga when it was still in the Kapuso network. However, he took a break from his hosting stints and concentrated on his acting projects.
Although he has long been not active in the noontime show, Alden still showed support for his co-hosts, TVJ and the Dabarkads, when an issue surfaced between them and TAPE Inc., the production company behind the show.
He admitted that Eat Bulaga played a big role in his career. His popularity skyrocketed when and his accidental loveteam with Maine Mendoza in the show’s Kalyeserye segment played a major role.
Just recently, rumors surfaced that Alden Richards will be one of the hosts of Tahanag Pinakamasaya, based on the article in Balita. Previously, the Kapuso actor stressed that he would not appear on other noontime shows out of his respect for his former co-hosts. He said that it would be fine if it was for promotional purposes only.
In a recent episode of Cristy Femin’s showbiz talk show, she debunked the speculations that Alden will be hosting the Kapuso noontime show.
“Alam mo, napaka-fake nitong news na ‘to. Unang-una, hinding-hindi ito gagawin ni Alden dahil sa kaniyang pangako,” the veteran showbiz writer said. However, Cristy said that the question next is that what if the management of GMA will tell Alden to join that Kapuso noontime show.
The veteran showbiz writer stressed that in Alden’s own volition, he will not be on a rival show of TVJ. Then, Cristy said that she is a bit worried about the actor because if the network’s executive persuades him to be in Tahanang Pinakamasaya, he will definitely receive negative reactions.
