Liza Soberano has another career milestone
Actress Liza Soberano said that attending the recent 30th Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards was a dream come true for her.
Liza has made a big leap in joining the entertainment industry in Hollywood. After a long wait, her first Hollywood film Lisa Frankenstein was released this month. Although Liza played a supporting role in this movie, many film critics expressed admiration for her performance. She got positive reviews for her character Taffy from movie critics.
Previously, the Fil-Am actress expressed how grateful she is to their director Zelda Williams, their writer Diablo Cody, and her co-stars Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse.
That was just the beginning of her international stints. Just recently, the former Kapamilya star attended the SAG Awards. It is her first major Hollywood awards show.
Based on the article in ABS-CBN News, Liza Soberano admitted that it still feels like a dream for her to be in this kind of event. “I keep on telling myself how special every moment like this is. Because I could only dream of this happening before and I tell myself not to get used to it,” the actress said.
She also said that this was a big deal for her and that this was what she dreamt of. Liza would always remind herself that she worked hard to reach where she is now and that everything is like magic.
Facebook’s parent company Meta invited the Fil-Am actress to attend the event. The SAG Awards has the largest voting body among Hollywood’s awards shows with 122,000 members. The event also served as a celebration for victorious SAG-AFTRA members who pushed for equality through a strike last year.
Meanwhile, Liza Soberano shared in a previous interview the projects that are lined up for her to do this year. She will have another international film that will be shot in the Philippines.
