Janice de Belen asserted that there is no conflict between her and Sharon Cuneta
Versatile actress Janice de Belen recalled the time when Megastar Sharon Cuneta did this during her first pregnancy.
Janice started her career in showbiz at a young age. She was one of those teen stars in the 80s and her career spanned up to the present. Her longevity in the industry proved her talent and versatility in playing different roles.
Throughout her career, Janice also went through ups and downs, intrigues and controversies. In a recent interview on Snooky Serna’s YouTube channel, based on the article in Bandera, Janice recalled the time when she received an apology from Sharon and Gabby, who were known as the ShaGab loveteam back then.
Gabby Concepcion was the first love of Janice de Belen. He and Sharon Cuneta got married in 1984 but they eventually separated.
Janice played the “Pick-a-Name” game in Snooky’s vlog. The first name she picked was Sharon and she shared their “past.” “Siyempre, nagkaroon kami ng konting issue because of Gabby. Nu’ng natapos na rin kami ni Gabby (nag-break), parang tapos na rin yon,” Janice shared.
However, she stressed that they were okay and they have no problem with each other. She also shared that she and Sharon see each other. Then, she recalled the time when the Megastar said sorry.
“And I remember, si Sharon actually apologized on TV, na nahiya ako kasi parang feeling ko, sobrang liit na bagay para mag-apologize siya,” she said. Janice shared that she appreciated this gesture that Sharon did.
“Pero nahiya ako doon kasi hindi ko alam kung bakit kailangan niyang mag-apologize, wala naman iyon,” the actress said. She reiterated that they are okay. Janice de Belen also recalled what Sharon Cuneta did when she was pregnant with her first son Luigi with her former partner Aga Muhlach.
At that time, Janice was the talk of the town and the subject of the “chismisan.” She shared that Sharon sent her flowers and a letter to show support and she appreciated that.
