Recently, Bless Villablanca, a Facebook user, shared her heartwarming story online. Her post immediately went viral and garnered various reactions across social media platforms.
Villablanca’s father, June Villablanca, a 58-year-old construction worker from Iloilo City prioritize the needs of his children over his own, diligently saving his hard-earned money to provide for his family.
According to Bless, a 24-year-old model and beauty queen, she and her father were roaming around a popular mall when her father expressed interest in a luxury item.
“Tag dos mil gid, hindi nalang ah, (Two thousand pesos, let’s not get it)” her father immediately dismissed the idea.
However, Bless responded, “Dos mil lang na, kwaa tanan nga gusto mo, (It’s only two thousand pesos, get whatever you want)”
Bless smiled as she watched her father choose something for himself for the first time. She reminisced about her father’s sacrifices and how he always prioritized their family’s needs over his own desires.
“It’s so hard holding back my tears watching you pick good clothes, I can clearly remember pano ka nag mantinir gision kag gabok nga bayo because gina una mo kami, amon pagkaon, amon needs. I know nga indi ka kasaho sang mahal, but allow me to spoil and make you happy, because there’s more to come. I promise,” Villablanca said.

The lady netizen revealed that she often takes her grandparents shopping, and it saddens her to see them hesitate to buy expensive clothes, dine at fancy restaurants, or even enter malls.
Bless, the youngest of four siblings, has been crowned Miss Iloilo World 2022 and Lin-ay Kang Antique Tourism 2023, making her family proud with her achievements.
