Bea and Dominic broke their silence to their breakup. In a joint statement posted on their Instagram page, the former couple announced that they called off their engagement.
They got engaged in July last year. However, these past weeks, rumors about their breakup surfaced online.
Ogie Diaz shared on his Showbiz Update vlog that according to his source, Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque broke up. With this, he was tagged by netizens as “Patron Saint Nga Mga Hiwalayan,” as well as “Patron Saint of Marites” and “Chismis.”
Days after Ogie’s statement about the rumored BeaDom breakup, which he based on his source, Boy Abunda confirmed on Fast Talk that the celebrities indeed broke up.
On February 11, Bea and Dominic shared a statement confirming that they ended their engagement. “After much thought, consideration, and care, we have mutually decided to amicably end our engagement. It was not an easy decision,” the couple said.
There was a portion of their statement that said, “Unfortunately, some even confirmed our breakup without our consent.”

However, some said that it was mainly for Boy Abunda because he was the one who confirmed this while Ogie Diaz cited that it was according to his source.
