“Unfortunately, some even confirmed our breakup without our consent, and some created ridiculous stories that had no basis and were utterly false.”
It’s official, the engagement of Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque ended. In an official joint statement, the couple confirmed the end of their relationship indicating that it was not an easy decision. They wanted to give it time to “carefully deliberate and pray about it” but for a time, it was surrounded with speculations, questions, and insults.
The statement added that there were ridiculous stories that were utterly false, hence, the announcement from them to give them peace of mind.
The official statement of Bea and Dominic made people think that they were alluding to Boy Abunda and Ogie Diaz when they said that there were people who confirmed it without their consent.
Was the statement really a “patama” to Abunda and Diaz? To recall, Tito Boy confirmed Bea and Dom’s breakup on Thursday’s episode of “Fast Talk.”
On Monday, when the Kind Of Talk renewed his contract with the Kapuso network, he was asked of his thoughts about the couple’s statement. However, he opted not to speak anything about it. He chose not to.
At the sidelines of his contract renewal, he expressed, “There’s a time to speak and a time to shut up… Right at this moment, I’m choosing to shut up — but not for long.”
He acknowledged the pain of both parties which needs to be respected.
On the other hand, Bea and Dom got engaged in July and planned to get married this year. But in the middle of the wedding preparation, the engagement ended and they opted not to disclose the reason behind it.
