What’s the real score between Sunshine Cruz and Atong Ang?
Rumor has it that actress Sunshine Cruz and wealthy businessman Atong Ang are in the stage of courting right now.
Back in January, rumors surfaced that Sunshine was in a relationship with Atong. Her last known relationship was with Macky Mathay. It was in February last year when Sunshine finally broke her silence on her breakup with Macky.
In a previous article, reportedly Atong addressed the rumors linking him to Sunshine. A source close to the wealthy business said that Atong denied it and that these rumors have been lingering for quite a while now.
However, entertainment writer Jun Lalin shared in his recent article in Abante that Sunshine Cruz and Atong Ang are in the courtship stage now. They are not yet in a relationship with each other.
Lalin also shared that last year, they asked the actress about the rumors linking her to Atong. However, the actress said that she does not want to talk about this.
Now that the relationship rumors have been circulating for quite a while, Lalin shared that they asked someone close to Sunshine. That person said that the actress and the businessman are in their “ligawan” stage.
“Sabi ni Sunshine, hindi pa sila talaga ni Atong. Nanliligaw pa lang sa kanya si Atong,” the source close to the actress shared.
It was also said that more than 12 years ago, Atong first courted Sunshine. However, his endeavor was not successful. After the actress’s breakup with Macky, it was said that Atong started courting her again.
“Hindi naman nagde-deny si Sunshine na nagde-date sila. Pero ligawan stage pa nga lang. Hiwalay naman si Atong sa misis niya, so wala namang problems,” the source said.
The source added that Atong introduced Sunshine to his kids and that there were times when they would watch shows at Solaire.
“So hindi babae sa dilim si Sunshine. Hintayin na lang natin kung magiging sila,” the person close to the actress said. The source also shared that Gretchen Barretto, Atong Ang’s business partner, knows about this.
