The loan application can be done over-the-counter at a branch of the SSS or online. Here are the steps for the SSS Calamity Loan online application process:

Step 1 — Visit the SSS Members page and log in to your account.

Step 2 — On the dashboard, click E-Services. A pop-up reminder will appear on the screen. Tick the box and then click the “Proceed” button.

Step 3 — You will be led to the Disbursement Account Enrollment Module page. Enroll the bank account that you wish to use in receiving the SSS Calamity Loan proceeds. Ensure that the account is PESONet-accredited.

Step 4 — Under the Enrollment tab, enter your bank account details and attach the supporting documents like the selfie/photo as well as the proof of account and your valid ID.

Step 5 — After you have registered your bank account, it will appear under the Disbursement Account tab. It may take one (1) to two (2) weeks before the approval may come. Once it is marked green, it means that the account is already active.

Step 6 — After the activation of the bank account, you may now apply for the SSS Calamity Loan online. Click/Tap E-Services > Loans > Apply for Calamity Loan.

Step 7 — Provide the address and the other information required in applying for the SSS Calamity Loan offer. Tick the box and click the Proceed button.

Step 8 — In the next page, you will see the outline of your loan application. Click/Tap Submit and wait for the update regarding your loan application.
