Kathryn Bernardo renewed her contract with ABS-CBN
Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo allegedly changed something in her new contract with her home network ABS-CBN.
Kathryn is a Superstar of her generation in the Philippine entertainment industry. She has done projects that have proven her caliber in acting. With her hit series and movies, Kathryn’s star continues to shine.
On February 2, Kathryn officially renewed her contract with ABS-CBN. This debunked the rumors that she would transfer to another network and would be managed by a different talent management company.

Kathryn Bernardo admitted that she received offers from other networks and management. She said that this was just normal when an artist’s contract was about to expire.
However, the Asia’s Superstar chose to remain a Kapamilya and was managed by Star Magic. Her contract renewal delighted the Kapamilya executives. Kathryn got emotional when ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes showed appreciation for her.
Based on the article in Newsko, veteran showbiz writer/commentator Cristy Fermin shared that Kathryn changed something in her new contract with ABS-CBN.
“May mga pinabago pala sa kontrata. May mga clause doon na pinabago ng kanyang abogado at kanyang mga magulang at ni Kathryn na mismo,” the showbiz writer shared.
Cristy said that the actress specified that she wants to have the liberty to choose her leading man in series or movies. She said that this came from her source. The showbiz writer added that Kathryn also specified that she does not want to work for now with her ex-boyfriend.
“At isa pa. Sigurado ‘yung aking source sa kanyang sinabi na isa sa mga pinabago niya, wala muna silang gagawing proyekto ni Daniel Padilla,” Cristy shared.
With this, Cristy said that it appeared that Kathryn really felt hurt with what happened. “Matindi talaga ang sakit na dinulot sa kanya ng nangyari sa kanila ni Daniel. Kasi kung ito ay mababaw lang, napaka-professional actress niya,” she said.
After Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla confirmed their breakup through their social media posts on November 30, 2023, the former couple has not spoken about their separation.
