Is it true that Beauty Gonzalez exhibited this behavior?
Kapuso actress Beauty Gonzalez allegedly was not so friendly at the Manila International Film Festival held in Hollywood.
Beauty has come a long way since she joined the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother. After many years of being under the management of ABS-CBN, she decided to transfer to the Kapuso network.
She continued to do series and show guestings under GMA-7. Last year, the Cebuana actress had a Metro Manila Film Festival movie with Derek Ramsay.
Their movie Kampon was also brought to Hollywood for the MIFF, just like other entries. This film festival was Pang-Masa entertainment writer Salve Asis’s topic in her recent write-up.
Asis said that according to what they heard, a different actor will be chosen for the Best Actor Award. During the MMFF 2023 Gabi ng Parangal, Cedrick Juan was hailed Best Actor for the movie GomBurZa.
The writer said that it seemed that there is a possibility that Piolo Pascual will be the Best Actor for the movie Mallari. A different set of judges will choose the winners for the MIFF and there is a different ranking to what the MMFF jurors had.
Asis also shared that people who attended the film festival felt an overwhelming “kilig” when Piolo Pascual and Dingdong Dantes arrived. However, there was an ambiance of sadness because, in some movies, people are allowed to watch for free and this is because the audience is not that big. The high ticket prices were pointed out as the reason for this.
Then, Asis shared that some people complained about the attitude of Beauty Gonzalez. “Anyway, isa pang pinagkukuwentuhan ng mga andung sumuporta sa MIFF ay si Beauty Gonzalez. Hindi raw sila pinansin ni Beauty nung tawagin nila ito. Totoo ba na hindi masyadong friendly si Beauty? Andami rin daw naartehan kay Beauty dahil nagsuplada?” the writer said.
The writer added that if this was true, then, it is “sayang.” As of this writing, the Kapuso actress has not reacted yet to this allegation against her.
