Actress-model Liza Soberano receives praises from Joe Russo after starring in the Hollywood film “Lisa Frankenstein”.
Famous Filipino actress Liza Soberano stars in the Hollywood film “Lisa Frankenstein” alongside Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse. This is her debut project in Hollywood and earlier this January, the trailer for the film has been released.
This is distributed by Universal Pictures International and opens in cinemas on February 7.
In the “Lisa Frankenstein” film, Liza plays the role of Lisa’s stepsister. Ahead of the showing, Newton expressed kind words about the Pinay actress and talked about her experience working with. Accordingly, she is “a gift to the world” and is the “sweetest girl” she has ever met.
For her, no one could do the Taffy role better than her. She added that “there’s nothing about Liza that’s not perfect and sweet”. Newton was not the only to praise the actress.
American producer and director Joe Russo recently praised her and this was stated in one of his newest posts on X. Russo wrote:
“Movies like LISA FRANKENSTEIN can be great vehicles to break new stars, and @zeldawilliams and Diablo Cody found a superstar in Liza Soberano, who steals every scene she’s in as Lisa’s step-sister, Taffy.”
Russo produced Nightmare Cinema, directed The Au Pair Nightmare, and wrote Hard Kill. The praise surely means so much as it came from a prominent filmmaker.

Meanwhile, in a previous article, Enrique Gil confirmed that he and Liza are still together. This is amid the persistent rumors about their split which started in 2023 after Ogie Diaz claimed that the two have broken up.
But recently, the actor personally denied this and shared that they are just “super busy” with their respective jobs.
