Willie Revillame Reportedly Ready to Run for Senator in 2025
WILLIE REVILLAME – Filipino television host, comedian, and businessman Willie Revillame announced he is ready to run for senator in 2025.
Willie Revillame is one of the renowned comedians and TV hosts in the Philippines. He is known as one of the wealthiest showbiz celebrities in the country. He shares his blessings through some of his game shows that have truly become popular among the masses, such as Wowowin.
In 2022, he opted against renewing his contract with GMA Network and instead entered into a contract with ALLTV. Unfortunately, due to network signal issues, programs on the network owned by billionaire Manny Villar had to be temporarily halted. Subsequently, Willie chose to step down from ALLTV, where he also held the role of a creative consultant.
Reports emerged suggesting negotiations between Willie and government-owned networks PTV and IBC for the continuation of his Wowowin show. However, as of now, there is no available information regarding the recent developments in these negotiations.
Yet, in November of the preceding year, rumors circulated indicating that Willie’s anticipated move to the government-owned network might not materialize. At that time, it was suggested that the veteran TV host encountered difficulties in securing a studio for his show.

However, at that time, Willie mentioned that he still had a contract, and he felt that he was not yet prepared, so he decided not to run. He said that he prayed about his decision, and he believes that he is now ready to run for senator in the year 2025.
“Palagay ko, handa na ako. Handa ho ako gumawa ng kabutihan, handa ako magsilbi hindi lang sa bayan. handa akong magsilbi sa ating kabababayan na nangangailangan ng tulong,” said Willie.
