Carmina Villarroel admitted she’s a protective mom
Seasoned actress Carmina Villarroel has this statement to people who are hurting her kids Mavy and Cassy Legaspi.
The family of Carmina and her husband Zoren Legaspi is often called by many as an ideal family. Fans love the strong bond that they have with their twins and how they are raising them. Veteran showbiz writer Cristy Fermin even said that the couple has no relationship problem.
Carmina admitted that she is a protective mom to her kids in a recent interview on Ogie Diaz’s YouTube channel.
The Sarap Di Ba? host shared that she initially did not like her kids to be in the entertainment industry but her husband is open about it. Mavy and Cassy wanted to try it and eventually, Carmina Villarroel saw that the twins are responsible when it comes to their jobs.
The Legaspi couple would always remind their kids that not everyone will like them and they should be aware of this, especially with social media, where anyone could throw hate comments at anyone.
Carmina expressed that she would always be ready to defend her kids, and her family because they care for them. “I’m going to do everything and anything to protect my family,” she said.
As a mother, the actress said that she can’t turn a blind eye when her twins are hurt by someone physically or emotionally. She also reminds Mavy and Cassy that it is not right that someone would hurt them. “Hindi pwede yan. That’s a no-no,” the actress stressed.
She added that people who are hurting them simply have no respect for them. Carmina told her kids not to conform to this because this is not right. “Hindi tama na manakit ng kapwa,” Carmina said.
The actress also said that she is hurt when people hurt Mavy and Cassy. She said that her kids are not perfect but they are good people. Although she wonders why there are people who hurt her kids, she can do nothing because she is not someone who would get back to other people’s wrongdoings.
“Hindi ko alam kung papano gumanti kasi hindi ako ganun,” Carmina Villarroel said. She also shared that they would just wonder at times why people would do bad to them even if they show goodness to everyone.
