Sharon Cuneta might a project abroad
Megastar Sharon Cuneta shared that she received good news from her management in the U.S. and she hopes this project will push through.
Sharon’s career in the entertainment industry is an inspiration to many younger artists. At a young age, she found stardom and until now, she is one of the most-admired actresses.
Back in 2019, talks about Sharon’s retirement surfaced. The actress expressed that she was so tired. These retirement talks once again circulated in 2022.
However, the Megastar continue to conquer the stage. Last year, she had a successful concert series with her ex-husband Gabby Concepcion. She also had a hit movie titled Family of Two with Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards for the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2023.
Sharon Cuneta is apparently conquering new boundaries. In a recent Instagram post, the actress-singer shared screenshots of messages from her management in the U.S. Based on the snippets, it was for a television show.
“I think I wanna do this! But waiting for my scheds pa here. Pag natuloy ito hay salamat malalayo ako ng konting tagal sa Pilipinas sama ko pamilya ko!” the seasoned star shared.
Sharon said that she is praying hard for this. She also shared that she is set to start the filming for a new movie and that she will have a concert tour planned to happen this year. The Megastar wants to do the US project but she had prior commitments in the Philippines.
In the comment section, fans showed support for her. “Long overdue. With your mega talent, it’s time to conquer Hollywood! Very well deserved,” Instagram user @divinae.c commented. A lot of netizens wished that Sharon Cuneta would do this project in the US and they are hopeful that this will push through.
