Sharon Cuneta is a Filipina actress and singer. She is one of the most expensive and effective product endorsers in the Philippines. Dubbed local showbiz’s “Megastar,” she has been in the industry for 44 years as an actress, singer, and host.

The veteran actress and her ex-husband Gabby Concepcion had one child, KC Concepcion. She married ex-senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan on April 28, 1996. Kiko then adopted KC.

Aside from KC Concepcion, Sharon Cuneta and Kiko Pangilinan have 2 daughters, including singer-songwriter Frankie Pangilinan and Miel Pangilinan, and one adopted son named Miguel Pangilinan.

Recently, the Megastar said she will not be afraid if her late parents Pablo Cuneta and Elaine Cuneta “visit” her. Shawie said she misses them, especially her mom Elaine, who died 8 years ago. According to her, she thinks about and remembers her mom more often now.

In her latest Instagram post, Sharon Cuneta revealed that she is mulling retirement. She admitted that being in the showbiz industry for a long time can be pretty exhausting.

The 56-year-old A-list celebrity said she would rather spend most of her time with her family. In an Instagram post where she posted a passage from the book “The Stories We Tell” by Joanna Gaines, Sharon said that “retirement is calling.” In the excerpt, the author considers “always running at high capacity” after a certain age.

“This part really resonated with me because, well, I am 56 now — and I am just undeniably exhausted. Retirement is calling,” Sharon wrote.

“Once in a while I can pop up in a movie or two, a concert, or a TV show, even a season or a series if it’s not too tiring. But I am tired,” she said.
