“Rewind” of Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes is now the highest grossing Filipino film.
The MMFF 2023 film of Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes is now officially the highest grossing Filipino film of all time.
“Rewind” continues to break box office records!
This film is among the official movie entries of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2023 and just recently, it officially became the highest grossing Filipino film of all time surpassing the record of Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richard’s “Hello, Love, Goodbye”.
Now, as of January 26, 2024, the film grossed Php 889 million and is now on its 5th blockbuster week in over 270 CINEMAS in the Philippines, UAE, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Guam, and Saipan.
It officially surpassed HLG which earned Php 880 million during its run in 2019.
The film has a striking story and has this simple yet direct way of telling us the moral lessons. It a movie that will help you unravel life’s meaning, what life is really all about. It talks about the blank canvass of life and how it will be colored creating an abstract – a myriad of colors of choices.
It brought us to the realization that time is valuable and that we have to make actions, leaving nothing behind to regret about.
Rewind may not have won any award at the 49th Metro Manila Film Festival’s “Gabi Ng Parangal”, but it won the hearts of many people.
Meanwhile, the other nine official entries of the MMFF 2023 are:
