Pretty Nursing Student Creates Creative Self-Introduction on the First Day of Classes
A pretty nursing student goes viral and elicits reactions from netizens with her creative introduction through song.
The first day of classes marks a new beginning, a new academic path filled with possibility. Many students see it as an opportunity to make a lasting first impression, and some prefer to express their personalities through unique self-introductions.
On the first day, students are often asked to introduce themselves to their classmates and professors. It includes sharing basic information like name, major, and hometown. This approach not only breaks the ice but also establishes a good and engaging learning environment.
Recently, Mikyla Christine Lozada, a 2nd-year nursing student from Bicol University Polangui Campus, has become a social media sensation after her entertaining self-introduction in class went viral on social media.
Lozada shared that she never expected their classroom fun to earn so much attention online. Their professor, Mr. Topasi, asked each student to introduce themselves, show their talents, and share their thoughts and expectations about the subject, on the first day of classes.
“[First] day of classes (and) our professor po si Mr. Topasi asked everyone to introduce ourselves and at the same time show our talents and mention na rin our thoughts & expectations sa subject,” Lozada explained.
The B.U. student’s creative approach to self-introduction involved singing, and it caught the attention of her classmates and the online community. Instead of introducing herself in a normal way, she incorporates singing into her stint.
“Since mahilig po talaga akong kumanta, naisip ko po na isabay na yung hilig ko sa introduction ko para isahan,” she added.
