NBI – Anti-Human Trafficking Division chief Atty. Cath Nolasco said that one of the apprehended clients is a British national from the UK who was found to have received materials originating from the Philippines.

Nolasco confirmed in their surveillance that the materials indeed came from Lanao del Norte. The suspects even offered to engage in explicit activities with their children if the online client was physically present.

The victims, aged four and five, are now under the care of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD). The suspects will face charges related to qualified human trafficking online, sexual abuse and exploitation, and violation of anti-child abuse laws.

As reported, the suspects have not provided any statements. The case indicates the importance of vigilance and the collaboration of law enforcement agencies in fighting online exploitation and ensuring the safety of minors.

The legal proceedings will play an important role in holding the suspects accountable for their actions and protecting the young victims from possible harm.
