Kim Chiu was asked if she’s ready to open her heart again
Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu said that she is open to falling in love again after her breakup with Kapuso actor Xian Lim.
Kim and Xian’s breakup is among the celebrity breakups in 2023 that the online community talked about. They have been together for 12 years and many fans expected that sooner or later, they would tie the knot.
However, the separation happened and some issues surfaced. It was alleged that the actor was having an affair while some speculated that the actress grew tired that their relationship was not getting to the next level.
Almost a month after their breakup confirmation, Kim Chiu was asked if she is ready to open her heart now for a new relationship, based on the article in Balita.
This question was asked to Kim during a recent press conference for her drama series Linlang with Paulo Avelino. “With everything that you’ve been through in life, would you still try to fall in love again?” Kapamilya entertainment reporter MJ Felipe read the question for Kim.
Kim and Paulo attended the press conference via Zoom because they both tested positive for COVID-19. It can be seen that the actor was smiling and clapping after the question was asked to Kim while the members of the press were cheering with “kilig”.
“Ahmmm, oo naman. Hindi man sa ngayon muna, pero hopefully in the next… next months to come,” the Kapamilya actress said.
MJ followed up, “Months lang, months lang?” and then, Kim answered, “Years, years… hindi oras…”
When asked why she still believes in love, Kim Chiu said that there are a lot of people who can give love and she is willing to receive it. Then, she laughed after saying “Wow!” She stressed that love is part of life and people should embrace it.
