GCASH FEES – Here are the transaction charges that the users of the e-wallet platform must know before making any transaction.

In the Philippines, millions of Filipinos are GCash users. However, it remains a common scenario of users getting shocked by the fees they incurred after the transaction was completed. It is really best to know the GCash fees that you may be charged of and it depends on the type of transaction.

With regards to the GLoan or the cash loan offer of the e-wallet platform, users will be charged a one-time processing fee in addition to the loan amount which is equivalent to 3% of the borrowed amount.

In case of late payment of the monthly amortization, the user-borrower may be charged of a penalty fee which is set to 1% of the loan amount, plus 0.15% of your total outstanding balance that will be charged daily.

In withdrawing your loan proceeds or in cashing out any fund from your e-wallet account, there are is also a fee and it depends if you withdraw money through an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) of a partner bank, over-the-counter, or via an international ATM:

  • via ATM withdrawal fee – ₱10 to ₱18
  • via Over-The-Counter outlets is charged with a withdrawal fee – 2% of the cash out amount
  • via ATM Withdrawal fee (International) – ₱150

In inquiring your balance through an ATM, you may be charged for P3.00 for local bank ATMs and P50.00 in international bank ATMs. Here are the other GCash fees under other transactions:

  • via linked bank account in the GCash app (BPI and Unionbank) – FREE
  • via bank’s mobile banking app. Fees depend on bank partners – ₱0 to ₱50
  • via remittance in the GCash app (Moneygram, WU) – FREE
  • via Over-The-Counter outlets will have a fee once users exceed the monthly free limit of Php8,000 – 2% of the cash in amount
  • Express Send – FREE
  • Send with a Clip – FREE
  • GCash Padala – ₱5 or 1.5%
  • Ang Pao – FREE
  • Bank Transfer – ₱15
  • Request Money or KKB – FREE
  • Offline Card Purchase – ₱150
  • Online Card Purchase – ₱215
  • Penalty fee for unpaid due between 1-30 days after its due date – ₱200
  • Penalty fee for unpaid due between 31-60 days after its due date – ₱500
  • Penalty fee for unpaid due between 61-90 days after its due date – ₱900
  • Penalty fee for unpaid due 90 days onwards after its due date – ₱1500
  • Interest charged for the total credit purchased within the billing period – 5-7% of the amount
