Kapamilya actress Kim Chiu confirms split with actor Xian Lim. Their relationship ended after more than 10 years of being a couple.
After many weeks of speculations and assumptions, actress Kim Chiu finally put an end to the ongoing rumors.
In an Instagram post, the actress finally confirmed that she and Xian Lim have called it quits. In the post, she expressed that this honesty is something that their fans and supporters deserve for they have loved and supported them in the many years that they have been together.
It took a while for their confirmation to finally happen and as the truth is finally out, the actress asked for privacy as they go on in this new chapter of their lives as no longer a couple.
In a previous article, Kim spoke about the split with Xian which was, back then, still a rumor. She shared that they are okay but in this interview and the several interviews that followed, she was hesitant in telling their real score until today.
“We shared more than a decade of love, each other’s support system, and many beautiful memories.”
In her statement, it was accordingly a mutual decision between them to turn their more than a decade relationship to a “lifelong friendship”. As for her message to Xi, she expressed how grateful she is for their time as a couple.
She asked for everyone’s kindness as they both move forward from this heartbreaking phase.

End of a love story.
It took me a while to say this until today.
We owe our supporters the truth, but we also respect each other’s time of healing. In a relationship, love is always a significant factor, but sometimes love is not enough.
We shared more than a decade of love, each other’s support system, and many beautiful memories. It was our mutual decision to transition our relationship into what we hope to be a lifelong friendship. We thank all our followers for their love and support, but now we ask you to appreciate our honesty and give us the privacy we need as we begin new chapters of our lives. To all our supporters, maraming salamat for all the love and understanding.
Lastly, to Xi, Thank you for the almost 12 years of beautiful memories together one can never imagine. You will always have a place in my heart. Thank you for showing me what love is.
As we close this chapter, I ask for everyone’s kindness and respect. I hope this clears everything as we all move forward with our lives.
