To be able to borrow from the SLoan, your cash loan feature must be activated. How to activate the SLoan? Here are the steps you may follow to ensure a smooth process:
Step 1 — Go to Finance Circle Page or Me tab > SLoan > Activate Now.
Step 2 — Enter the One-Time Password or OTP sent to you and upload a valid Government ID. Here is a list of the IDs and identification documents accepted in activating the SLoan:
- Philippine Passport
- Philippine National ID
- Postal ID
- Driver’s License
- Unified Multi-Purpose ID (UMID)
- PRC with DOB
- PhilHealth with DOB
- Tax Identification Number (TIN) ID
- SSS Card with DOB
Shopee has provided some tips in uploading the ID. Here are some tips you may follow:
- Use your back camera in taking a photo of your valid ID
- Make sure you position your ID card in the available frame.
- Make sure that the picture is clear and the details captured in the photo are correct.
Step 3 — Accomplish the application form by providing the details required > Read the policies and terms and conditions > Tick the boxes if you agree > Confirm.
